The Niva 4WD club of Western Australia Inc.1990 was initially conceived in September 1989 by a small group of Lada Niva owners, with a common interest in four wheel driving. As the club attracted more members, it became more organised, which eventually led to incorporation in January 1990.

The Nissan Patrol Club of South Australia was formed for the purpose of providing a common meeting place for people with similar interests in four wheel driving and associated activities. The club promotes four wheel driving as responsible recreational activity through meetings, trips and other events, educates its members on issues involving conservation and the responsible use of vehicles.

The Nissan Club is a family orientated club, catering for all types of four wheel drive trips and social functions.
